Big Sam: No time for managers

Scolari and Adams were sacked by Chelsea and Portsmouth respectively earlier this week.Allardyce, himself, lasted only eight months in charge of Newcastle before being relieved of his duties. He said: "The axe has fallen twice in Premier League this week and that is something which is happening on a regular basis."There is no time anymore. There is only instant success and as managers we have to live with that scenario."We are fast becoming more and more dispensable. The Premier League is the best league in the world but the most difficult to manage in."Newcastle's Joe Kinnear is also feeling the strain after suffering heart problems and Allardyce added: "I wish him a speedy recovery and hope he is back as soon as possible."I had 11 months of looking after myself, rather than years of looking after everyone else. You do put yourself at risk because you are constantly thinking about others than yourself."Every time you go on the touchline you risk your health. You have to take time out to look after yourself."
