Veterans United: Neville joins Giggs in signing new deal at Old Trafford
Manchester Unitedclub captain Gary Neville has signed a one-year contract extension which will keep him at Old Trafford until June 2010. The 34-year-old, who made his United debut in 1992, has struggled with injuries over the last year and despite the emergence of young Brazilian Rafael at right-back, the club had no intention of letting one of their stalwarts leave. 'Manchester United is the only club I have ever wanted to play for so I am delighted to have signed for another year,' Neville told the club's official website.
