Shrimps boss set to keep the faith

Striker Aaron Taylor, defender Henry McStay and midfielder Ian Craney remain long-term absentees but McIlroy has no other major concerns. And the Shrimps manager will urge his side to finish their campaign strongly after admitting the play-offs are out of their reach. The Shrimps' hopes of claiming a top-seven finish were effectively ended by last weekend's 2-0 defeat at Northampton. And McIlroy is already looking to the future as he plots a strong end to the current campaign. He said: "We are only into our third year in the Football League and to finish in the top half of the table would be a fantastic achievement."
