Duo in contention for O's debuts
Midfielder Spicer has signed on loan from Doncaster and American defender Lichaj was snapped up from Aston Villa.Spicer could go straight into the starting line-up while Lichaj will be on stand-by to start at right-back if captain Stephen Purches fails a late fitness check.Purches missed last weekend's defeat by Huddersfield with a calf injury.Goalkeeper Jamie Jones has recovered from the back injury which ruled him out against Walsall a fortnight ago but he only made the bench last Saturday with Glenn Morris keeping his place.Romanian striker Adrian Patulea staked his claim for a recall with five goals for the reserves on Wednesday.
