Harry hails versatile Chimbonda

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has praised the versatility of defender Pascal Chimbonda. The 29-year-old Frenchman re-signed for Spurs in the winter transfer window, just six months after leaving the club for Sunderland.Chimbonda angered a number of fans during his first stint in North London after infamously storming down the tunnel after being substituted in last season's Carling Cup final. But with Redknapp focused on the present, the Tottenham chief has backed Chimbonda to prove a valuable asset for the side between now and the end of the campaign.Redknapp said: "I just felt that Chimbonda gives us cover all over. I was looking for somebody who could play everywhere, that's going to be important."He has energy, gets forward and is an attacking full-back. He was outstanding at centre-back in his last game for Sunderland so can play across the back four."I always liked him and tried to get him when he was at Wigan, I think Chelsea were in for him too when he was in the Premier League team of the year."
