Harry hopeful on King

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is hopeful Ledley King will be fit to face Manchester United in the Carling Cup final. Spurs' long-serving defender has sat out the club's last five matches after suffering a hamstring strain against Portsmouth.Redknapp is not looking to rush King back into action anytime soon though, in a bid to ensure he is fit for the final against United a week on Sunday."I'm hopeful he'll be okay," he told Sky Sports News. "It's sort of day-to-day. He's had a hamstring (injury).Recovery"He's got that knee problem, but he's a fantastic player when he's fit. We're just hoping that he continues his recovery."We'll monitor ahead of the weekend and we'll see how he looks next week."Redknapp added Chelsea keeper Carlo Cudicini to his ranks during the transfer window and is pleased he now has two shot-stoppers at his fingertips.The former Pompey boss has confirmed Heurelho Gomez will be in goal against Sir Alex Ferguson's troops at Wembley as Cudicini is cup-tied.Top-class keepers"They are both top class keepers. It's competition between the pair of them," he continued. "Gomez will obviously play in the Carling Cup final. It's nice to have two top goalkeepers. They are both terrific."That's what it's about.
