Bojinov on comeback trail

Manchester City striker Valeri Bojinov has returned to action for the first time in six months. The Bulgarian has suffered a horrendous run of luck since joining City in 2007.In just his third Premier League game he suffered knee ligament damage, which ended his season.He battled back to full fitness only to tear his Achilles tendon almost 12 months on from his first injury.Now Bojinov is again approaching fitness as he played for City's second string on Tuesday.City boss Mark Hughes will hope he will soon be able to call on the 23-year-old, who has made one start for the club.
