Franck Queudrue seals loan move from Birmingham to Colchester

Chance: Queudrue can kickstart his careerBirmingham defender Franck Queudrue has joined Colchester United on an emergency loan deal until the end of the season.   The Frenchman has teamed up with the League One outfit who currently lie in sixth position.   The move will give Queudrue the chance to play first-team football and, should United be involved in the promotion play-offs, he will be eligible for selection.  Queudrue, 31, has only featured seven times for City this season due to the excellent form of Liam Ridgewell at left-back.   Queudrue joined Birmingham from Fulham in August 2007 and has made over 50 appearances for the club and last season was voted their player of the year.   Blackburn 2 Birmingham 1: David Dunn's double gives Brum the BluesMcLeish challenges McGeady and Boyd to prove themselves in EnglandBirmingham boss McLeish admits: Pavlyuchenko's now out of my reachBIRMINGHAM CITY FC
