Wright: Everything in place for Imps

Wright, who joined the League Two club almost a decade ago and became chairman in 2006, is to step down from his position at the end of the season. He said: "We are on a sound footing financially and there are firm foundations in place for whoever becomes chairman to build on a football club which is stable unlike others."Everything is in place for a period of massive success and it just remains a matter for the team to produce the goods on the pitch and take us that one step further."I would say to anybody thinking of standing for chairman, and that applies to any outside investors who want to come on board, that it is a wonderful job at a wonderful club."
