Giggs revels in United pursuit

Ryan Giggs admits he is enjoying his football more than ever as Manchester United chase an unprecedented Quadruple. United maintained their push for glory on all fronts with a comfortable 4-1 win over Derby on Sunday to reach the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.Giggs was inspirational in the victory at Pride Park and the Welshman has been rolling back the years this season with a number of impressive performances.United rewarded Giggs with a new deal last week and there have been calls for the veteran to be named Footballer of the Year for his stellar showings this term.Giggs is refusing to get carried away by all the praise aimed in his direction and is happy to keep his focus on staying in Si Alex Ferguson's side."I am certainly enjoying my football more than ever," said Giggs."It is for other people to judge whether I am playing as well as I have ever done."But I am playing quite regularly and the team are playing well, which is what we want."AttitudeGiggs also admits he has had to use his common sense to keep himself playing at the highest level.The 35-year-old insists he has had to look after himself to enable himself to prolong his illustrious career"It is all about common sense," added Giggs."I have to look after myself and get enough rest. I also have to make sure my attitude and preparation for games is right."For many years now, I have said you look to get better and improve your game."I have always tried to do that and adapt to different situations. I have played midfield and up front when I was younger. None of it is alien to me because I have done it before."
