Old Firm on alert as Pompey defender Hreidarsson eyes Glasgow move

Old Firm fan: Hreidarsson fancies a crack at the SPL Hermann Hreidarsson is eyeing a move to Rangers or Celtic when his Portsmouth contract ends this summer.   The defender confirmed interest from both Old Firm clubs during the January transfer window but former manager Tony Adams told Hreidarsson Portsmouth needed him to battle against relegation.   The Iceland international hopes there will be another opportunity to move to Scotland in the summer window and said: 'I fancied the idea of going to Rangers or Celtic.I spoke with Tony but he wanted to keep me. 'I can't really say how far it got and which club's interest was the stronger. I spoke to a few people on the phone and they definitely wanted me. 'My contract is up this summer and I'll be free to leave.
