Boateng on course for Hull comeback after knee ligament injury

Steady progress: Boateng is returning to Hull for an assessment Hull midfielder George Boateng is making encouraging progress in his recovery from a knee ligament injury which saw him carried off in the FA Cup third round replay at Newcastle on January 14.The 33-year-old was ruled out for around 10 weeks and went back home to Holland for treatment, but is due to return to Hull this week for an assessment.Manager Phil Brown said: "He is coming on very nicely. He has been across with the Dutch physios that he has been working with all his career.   "With a bit of luck we will assess over a week to 10 days whether he stays with us or needs to go back to Holland.
