Lovenkrands - It will be tough

Peter Lovenkrands has admitted that Newcastle are in a difficult situation as they battle for Premier League survival. The Danish winger moved to Newcastle from Schalke during the January transfer window and netted his first goal for the club in last week's 3-2 victory over West Brom. The result lifted the Magpies to 13th in the table but they remain in a precarious position just four points above the relegation zone.Newcastle have a tricky set of fixtures coming up, with Everton, Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea the next four visitors to St James' Park.Lovenkrands accepts that it will be hard to avoid the drop but he is looking forward to the challenge."It is of course extremely difficult, but there is a possibility to do something, I believe," Lovenkrands told Onside.dk."It's going to be tough, but we got three points against West Bromwich at the same time as all the rivals lost points, and that was really important."We have many tough games coming up, and a hard schedule, so it will be interesting."
