Kisnorbo's World Cup dream over

Australia international Kisnorbo was stretchered off in tears in the eighth minute of Monday night's damaging 2-0 home defeat to Millwall with a suspected ruptured Achilles tendon.Leeds manager Simon Grayson said: "Unfortunately for Paddy he suffered a severe Achilles injury, which will rule him out of the rest of the season and possibly the World Cup as well."It's a shame because he's been outstanding for us all season."He's been a warrior type, a leader and I'm gutted for the lad because his dream was to play in the World Cup and that looks like it could have been shattered."Kisnorbo, 29 this week, has been outstanding in central defence for Leeds this season following his summer arrival on a free transfer from Leicester and his loss is a further blow to the Yorkshire club's automatic promotion hopes.
