Anichebe back in the running

Everton manager David Moyes has revealed striker Victor Anichebe is available for selection against Aston Villa on Sunday. The Nigeria-born hit-man was dropped by Moyes, despite the club not having any fit strikers, after he reportedly blasted The Toffees boss for refusing to sanction a loan move to Hull City.Everton have since bolstered their attacking numbers following the arrival of Jo on loan from Manchester City, but he is cup-tied against Villa, meaning Anichebe is the last man standing.Moyes has hinted the hatchet has been buried by revealing the well-built 20-year-old has a good chance of making his return to action against Martin O'Neill's troops.Back in consideration"I will consider Victor," revealed Moyes. "He's back in the squad, he gets on with his job, he's fit. That gives him a chance of being involved."I couldn't give you a definite of whether he will or he won't feature."Despite Moyes apparently forgiving Anichebe, the striker has hinted he remains disappointed the club failed to sanction his chance to secure regular football with The Tigers."They wanted to take me on loan until the end of the season which would have been a great opportunity to go out and play on a regular basis," he stated.
