Moyes hails 'excellent job'

David Moyes praised Everton's display following the victory over Aston Villa but played down his side's chances of winning the FA Cup. The Toffees, who beat Liverpool in the fourth round, booked their place in the quarter-finals with an impressive 3-1 win.Jack Rodwell's opener was cancelled out by a James Milner penalty but Mikel Arteta and Tim Cahill then found the target to see off Martin O'Neill's in-form team.Moyes was delighted with the way his men played, especially in the absence of several injured players."I thought the boys did an excellent job today," he said."I thought it was a good all-round performance from the team today. I was worried about how it would turn out with the absence of Steven Pienaar and Marouane Fellaini, but it turned out well in the end and the players deserved it"Victor Anichebe did well and Jack Rodwell shone again. He showed what he can do so overall I'm very pleased to get through."LuckThe likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are still in the competition and Moyes accepts it will be difficult for Everton to go all the way.He explained: "I'd love to say we can win it, but we need a bit of luck. We'd need good luck and a home draw."We have had to knock out a couple of wins against big teams so let's hope we get a decent draw."We want to play at Goodison in the next round. We are coming into form here and if we can continue that then we will be a match for most teams at home."PetrovVilla's Stiliyan Petrov handled the ball on the line before Rodwell's goal and Moyes believes the Bulgarian was lucky not to be sent off."It was a deliberate handball on the line," he said."I've never known anything but a sending-off for such a foul so he should have been sent off in my eyes."Any player knows that if they stop the ball on the line (with their hands) they are going to get sent off."
