Vaughan remaining upbeat

Everton striker James Vaughan is determined to come back from his latest injury setback stronger than ever. Vaughan underwent knee surgery last December and is set to be sidelined for much of the remainder of the current campaign. The 20-year-old has struggled with a number of long-term setbacks during his short career, but Vaughan is remaining focused on returning to first-team action as a better player."I'm used to it [being injured] now," he told the club's official website. "It's come as part and parcel of my career so far. It keeps happening but hopefully this is the last one now. "I'm only 20 - although I feel a lot older - but hopefully I've still got a long time left in the game."The latest injury has been slow but things have been progressing quite we'll and hopefully I should be back in not too long. Hopefully I'll be a stronger person when I get back."
