Simpson: Lads have been superb

The Daggers had trailed at the break when Lee Bell's 35-yard volley was misjudged by goalkeeper Tony Roberts.But Danny Green's double and an Abu Ogogo strike saw the hosts move to within three points of the League Two play-offs as Macclesfield lost their three-game unbeaten run.Simpson said: "They're (Daggers) a strong, experienced, physical team, but we could have actually been in front by more at half time."We needed a second goal, but they got one back after 50 (minutes) and their tails were up."The lads have been superb the last couple of weeks and we knew it was going to be difficult down here, they never gave up though and I can't fault them."
