Megson pays Moyes tribute

olton manager Gary Megson believes David Moyes has done a tremendous job at Everton. The Toffees have become a force to be reckoned with since Moyes took charge in 2002 and they have enjoyed another successful season.Everton are sixth in the Premier League and they kept up their fine form with a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Liverpool in an FA Cup match on Wednesday which was not settled until extra-time.Moyes has had to cope without several injured players in recent months and Megson has been impressed by the way he has built such a resilient side. "I know David would look at his squad and say it's too small. He's got quality but maybe not got enough quantity," said Megson."It's got to the point where he is having huge problems with his strikers. He has to go with Tim Cahill and Marouane Fellaini up top, and they're doing a manful job."To be able to beat one of the best teams in Europe in Liverpool - with no recognised centre-forward - is a great testament to the job David has performed there."I think Everton are a pointer for how we should do things at this football club."AdvantageBolton travel to Goodison Park on Saturday and Megson hopes his men can capitalise on any tiredness in the Everton ranks. He commented: "Everton will get a huge fillip from beating their local rivals in the last minute of extra-time."But they played for two hours on a Wednesday night in a very intense derby, so there is the possibility they may have picked up a couple of knocks while our players were resting."Whether that's an advantage or not we will find out on Saturday."
