Stimson happy with Addicks point

Frazer Richardson's low shot squirmed underneath Alan Julian at The Valley before the Gills hit back with goals from Andy Barcham and Dennis Oli before the break. The home side had left the pitch to a chorus of boos at half-time but responded well in the second half and drew level through David Mooney's 60th-minute leveller.Stimson said: "We knew we were going to be tested as we were playing a very good Charlton side who were obviously hurting from last week's defeat to Millwall, so I was pleasantly surprised to be leading at half-time, especially away from home."I'm never happy with a point but to come to a place like The Valley, against a very good side who are third in the league and pushing for promotion, I'll take it."
