Carlisle loan Rovers' Kane

Carlisle United have secured the signing of Blackburn Rovers defender Tony Kane on loan until the end of the season. The Northern Ireland Under 21 international spent time at Stockport County earlier this campaign and now moves to Brunton Park in a bid to continue his development.Kane is thoroughly looking forward to his time at League One side Carlisle, with the club seeking to rise up the table from their position of 18th.He told the club's official website: "I'm very pleased with this move, to be honest. Hard work"I just want to get out there and try and get some games under my belt. Hopefully I will do well for Carlisle while I am here, that's certainly my intention anyway."I've played in Belgium for a year, and I have had the spells with Stockport, so I don't mind moving away from Blackburn at all."The important thing is playing football. That's all I want to be doing, and I have been in amongst the squad already, and seen what they can do, and I think everyone is just raring to go after the recent postponed games."I will now work hard in the training sessions with everyone and try to force my way in to the manager's thinking, and let's see where that leads."
