This video of England fans talking to Roy Hodgson via a robot is a bit weird

You know that episode of The Big Bang Theory when Sheldon is confronted by his own mortality and decides to never again step outside his room, instead opting for a mechanical robot with an iPad and Facetime to take his place? It seems a bunch of England fans have the same fear. Rather than actually getting England fans to meet the England manager and ask him questions, EE got a Sheldon-bot to roam around Wembley pestering the man. Hodgson can clearly feel how awkward this all is. So we learned a few things there: the players from England’s past Roy would like to see in the shirt again, who his childhood footballing heroes were – and that Ray Parlour can be outfoxed by a floating tablet. Very strange indeed. The best bit though? Without any hint of irony Hodgson mentions owls. OWLS. Every time I see Roy Hodgson I have a picture of an owl inside my head 😂😭 pic.twitter.com/yQ3Hvi7JaC — neb (@_benjonees) June 19, 2014 He also emits a pellet RT @ByTheMinSport Google "Roy Hodgson Owl" and look at the pictures… pic.twitter.com/KLJBlxbjmF — James (@writtenoff_mufc) October 9, 2014 We love you Roy.
