Pogba Injury Blow For Juventus

Juventus have suffered a blow in their bid for the treble after key midfielder Paul Pogba was ruled out for up to two months with a torn hamstring.The France international sustained the problem during Wednesday's Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund, and after undergoing tests on Thursday the extent of the damage was revealed.A Juventus statement said: "Paul Pogba this afternoon underwent an MRI scan after coming off midway through the first half of last night's Champions League match with Borussia Dortmund in Germany."The scan revealed a grade two myotendinous junction tear of his biceps femoris. He is expected to return to competitive action within the next 50 days."If the 22-year-old Pogba is out for two months, then he might only be available for the last few games of the campaign. Juve's final Serie A fixture is scheduled for the weekend of May 30 and the Champions League final - if the Italian giants get there - is being played on June 6.Juve are 14 points clear at the top of Serie A, in the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia and through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League following their 5-1 aggregate win over Dortmund.Pogba had already been left out of the France squad announced on Thursday for the upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Denmark later this month.
