Chelsea target Hamsik agrees new five-year deal with Napoli

Chelsea hopes off landing Marek Hamsik appear to be over, for this summer at least, after the highly-rated Slovakia midfielder agreed a new long-term Napoli deal.The five-year contract extension will tie the 22-year-old down to the Serie A side until 2015 in an agreement which signals his intent to continue his promising career in Italy and a blow to Carlo Ancelotti who reportedly had high hopes of signing him.Hamsik has been widely linked with a move away from San Paolo with a host of top European suitors chasing his signature with Real Madrid also mooted to be keen.
