Cardiff City Owner Tan Sri Vincent Tan has teased Bluebirds fans over the new badge which it due to be released later this month. Tan, Speaking to Cardiff City Player, spoke about the badge and said it would contain an Oriental Dragon to reflect both his and the Welsh clubs heritage. "It's very good and I am very happy with it. The fans will be happy, it has a Bluebirds and it's really outstanding". Earlier this year Vincent Tan revered his controversial decision to change the clubs home kit for blue to red following a deal with the clubs board members and supports clubs. As part of this deal Cardiff would receive a new badge for the upcoming 2015/16 season at would contain both elements from Cardiff and Malaysian culture. The Cardiff visited the Cardiff City Stadium for the first time this season at the 1-0 loss to Wolves last Saturday and said "I am very happy with the progress I have been very busy in Malaysia and Asia and I'm very happy to be back." "We are back in blue and times are changing and hopefully for the better. I think we all need to be positive and this positivity will help the team do better in the league. The Welsh side were favourites to achieve automatic promotion at the start of the season but currently lay 14th in the Championship table. Tan says that the deciding factor on his decision to turn Cardiff back to blue was his mother " Before Christmas my mother said 'it's not good to have this problem at Cardiff, why don't you sort it out?' so I thought maybe it was time [to change back to blue]"
