West Ham have sacked manager Gianfranco Zola.The Italian is the 42nd boss to leave his post since last August across the four divisions in England.The number of departures last season was 54, including 11 Barclays Premier League bosses - Alan Curbishley, Kevin Keegan, Juande Ramos, Harry Redknapp, Roy Keane, Tony Adams, Luiz Felipe Scolari, Ricky Sbragia, Guus Hiddink, Steve Bruce Wigan, Tony Mowbray - who either resigned or were fired.The first sacking this season was Norwich's Bryan Gunn, who was shown the door  after the 7-1 thrashing of Norwich by Colchester.
