Here's what Sam Allardyce makes of Louis van Gaal's long-ball dossier

It would appear West Ham boss Sam Allardyce isn’t in any rush to read Louis van Gaal’s long-ball dossier. The Manchester United manager, stung by accusations from Allardyce that his side played long-ball football during the two sides’ draw last weekend, produced the document at a press conference this week, containing statistics intended to refute the claims. Allardyce was handed a copy today at his own briefing ahead of the Hammers’ FA Cup game against West Brom – and didn’t seem too impressed.
