The Liverpool fans are getting very creative with their Gerrard banners
As the countdown to Steven Gerrard’s end-of-season Liverpool exit continues the fans are making sure their treasured captain knows just what they think of him.
The Liverpool faithful unfurled this giant banner ahead of kick-off for the first leg of their club’s Capital One Cup semi-final against Chelsea at Anfield.

Gerrard had recovered from a tight hamstring to came in for Fabio Borini in the only change from the team that beat Aston Villa at the weekend, giving him a great view point.
The banner reads: “The best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.”

WWE fans were quick to point out the quote was borrowed from wrestler Bret ‘Hit Man’ Hart.
