It's the end of the Storrie as chief executive steps down at Portsmouth

Under-fire Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie has relinquished his duties, club administrator Andrew Andronikou has announced.Storrie will remain at the club in a consultancy role, after vowing to stay with the Premier League strugglers until their future was secured.A statement from the Andronikou revealed Storrie had left 'in the best interests of the club' after speaking with family and friends, although he will continue to advise them in a consultancy role.   End of a chapter: Storrie has stepped down as chief executive of Portsmouth Storrie had taken a 40% pay cut after 85 of the club's staff weremade redundant earlier this week as Andronikou sought to cut costs.   Storrie will be 'remunerated accordingly' for working with Pompey ona range of matters, including the sale of the club, the FA Cupsemi-final arrangements and other projects.
