Messi to Chelsea? A done deal according to... Instagram
It’s been a chaotic day in Barcelona. Their director of football, Andoni Zubizarreta, has been sacked and their former captain Carlos Puyol has left his position as assistant sports director.
Now, it looks like their star player is on his way out of the Nou Camp. At least, according to a screenshot that somebody took on Instagram that is sending the internet wild.

We had a quick look for ourselves and, yes, Lionel Messi does follow Chelsea, Filipe Luis and Thibaut Courtois.

But could Messi really leave Barcelona? There had been rumours that he’d been trying to get his manager, Luis Enrique, sacked, which would make it seem that he’s unsettled.
With the price tag being thrown around, Jose Mourinho probably wouldn’t be able to sanction the deal.

But then again, it’s not his money.

Messi only signed a new contract in May of last year, so it’s unlikely that he’s fishing for a new one.
One thing is without a doubt though. Messi moving to England and continuing to score goals the way he does in Barcelona would end any argument that it’s Andres Iniesta and Xavi Hernandez that make him so great.
