Fletcher admits financial worries

The Cherries were issued with another winding-up petition from HM Revenue and Customs last month, with the south coast club needing to pay a £314,000 tax bill by March 31.The announcement came as another blow to the cash-strapped promotion-chasers, leading Fletcher - in his second spell at the club - to admit that the troubles had affected the players. He told the Bournemouth Echo: "Of course it's worrying for the supporters - it's their club - and it's my club. It's the players' livelihoods and anybody who is involved at the club."Despite voicing his concern, the 37-year-old said he was confident the Dean Court boardroom would bring about a resolution, adding: "But I do believe the people we've got in charge are doing things the right way."They've got the club organised, which it hasn't been for years since I can remember. It's going forward in the right way. We've got every confidence things will be okay but there's only so much they can do."
