Staunton pleased by Quakers show

The Quakers, adrift at the foot of the Football League and destined for Blue Square Premier football next season, took the lead when Tadgh Purcell converted a 32nd-minute penalty against the run of play, but Ryan Lowe equalised 10 minutes later with his 14th goal of the season, also from the spot.Staunton said: "We maybe could have nicked it. We played some good stuff again and defended much better - and that's not just the big four."The front three worked hard to close them down. We broke their game up well and broke well ourselves, but the final ball wasn't quite there."The lads worked their socks off and we deserved at least a draw. We maybe rode our luck at times, but I think we deserved that because we've been knocking on the door the last few games."
