Smith returns to Quakers line-up

Gary Smith has earned a recall to the Darlington side for this evening's game at Bury as one of two changes. The midfielder is back in team as manager Steve Staunton reverts to 4-4-2 against fourth-placed Bury. Smith has missed eight games having been dropped following the 3-0 defeat at Crewe in January while striker Mor Diop is also recalled. The striker plays up front alongside Curtis Main with six-goal Tadhg Purcell dropping back into a wide position. Making way are Ross Chisholm and Dan Burn. Both are on the bench but there is no place along the 18 for new defender Andrew Milne. But youth team player John McReady is among the substitutes and should he feature this evening he would become the 51st different player used by Darlington. Bury make one change and that sees star striker Andy Bishop making his first start since September following a lengthy injury lay-off. Also in the Shakers side is full-back Tom Newey who had a loan spell with Quakers in 2003, playing in the final ever match at Feethams. Bottom of the table Darlington go into the game on the back of five consecutive defeats while Bury have drawn three matches in a row 0-0 but have lost one of their most recent 13 games. **For updates throughout the game on Twitter go to twitter.com/CStoddartEcho Bury (4-4-2): Brown; Buchanan, Creswell, Futcher, Newey; Worall, Dawson, Barry-Murphy, Jones; Lowe, Bishop.
