Looks like end of Storrie as Pompey administrator looks set to cut jobs

Off the wage bill: Peter Storrie is paid £1.2m a yearPortsmouth staff will learn tomorrow whether they are to be laid off, with up to half of the stricken club's 600 employees at risk. The potential job losses are part of the 'deep cuts' which administrator Andrew Andronikou insists are necessary if he is to make a start on repaying Portsmouth's numerous creditors and reduce debts of £78million. Andronikou said: 'We've been at the club a week and we've covered a lot of ground. It's about time we announced what is going to happen.' Peter Storrie, the Premier League's fourth-best paid chief executive with an annual salary of £1.2m, may become the highest profile casualty. He has pledged to stand down once the club are sold, but Andronikou may well decide that his services are no longer required.
