McIndoe eager to end goal drought

The 30-year-old, who joined from Bristol City last summer, is going through a frustrating patch in front of goal but is confident he will soon be firing on all cylinders."In my 15 years as a player I have never gone 34 games without a goal," McIndoe told the Coventry Telegraph. "My goals to game ratio has got to be better and I'm hoping I get about six in one game so then I won't be asked the question anymore."Since I've come here it's not quite been there but I'm a confident lad and I don't like to look at the negatives."I've never had it before in my career but you learn from it and move on."I'll have to keep working away and eventually it'll come. Usually when it does the floodgates will open, but as long as we're progressing as a club, me scoring goals is not important."
