Bird out, Townsend in for Robins
David Bird is facing around three weeks on the sidelines with ankle ligament damage sustained during Tuesday night's disappointing 1-0 home defeat to fellow strugglers Hereford and is on crutches.However, manager Mark Yates is able to welcome back Michael Townsend, who has missed out of late due to a groin injury.Midfielders Matt Thornhill and Marley Watkins passed late fitness tests to feature in midweek and will be involved once again.Returning captain Shane Duff managed some crucial minutes for the reserves in midweek before a third successive appearance as an unused substitute against the Bulls.He should again be on the bench this time around.
