Finger break ends Kuipers' season

The Dutchman will have surgery on his injury and faces three months on the sidelines before he can play again.Seagulls' manager Gus Poyet may try to sign a shot stopper on loan before the deadline at the end of March as he is left with just youth-team keeper Mitch Walker as cover for Peter Brezovan."Unfortunately it's a two or three month injury, so the season is probably finished for Michel," Poyet told the club's official website."It was a normal action that you see in training four or five times every day. We still don't know how it really happened, because it was so simple."Of Walker, Poyet added: "It was important to see Mitch the other night for the reserves, it will be good to see him in training again, and then we will make a decision."
