Ferguson eyes Davidson return

The Scottish left-back has been on the sidelines since late January when he picked up a head injury in North End's 1-0 victory over Peterborough at London Road.He has since picked up a couple of muscle injuries which have reduced him to the sidelines for just over a month. However, Ferguson said: "He trained on Tuesday with the physio and he should train with the lads on Thursday. He's got a chance for Saturday."Callum had a problem with his hamstring and then he had a problem with his calf and it has been mainly those muscle problems that have kept him out."But we have upped his training in the last week, he is now doing twisting and turning stuff and if he gets through that then he will probably join in with the lads on Thursday."
