Town ease defender injury fears

Lancashire, who is on loan at the Mariners from Southampton, took the knock on his right foot during the 2-0 weekend defeat to Dagenham.Despite an initial prognosis he had sustained broken bones, X-rays on the injury on Monday confirmed the 21-year-old did not suffer anything more serious than swelling and he is expected to return to training on Thursday.
