Darlington make two changes

Darlington have made two changes for this evening's game at home to Port Vale while there is a new signing on the bench for Quakers. Scottish midfielder Ross Chisholm is a substitute for Steve Staunton's side having signed today from Shamrock Rovers. Defender Alan White and young midfielder Dan Groves both come into the side with Richie Byrne, who is injured, and Nathan Mulligan dropping out. Darlington are looking to avenge a 1-0 defeat from earlier in the season when Port Vale won 1-0 thanks to a Marc Richards goal but Gary Smith, on the bench tonight, missed a late penalty. Meanwhile, former Quakers captain Steve Foster is expected to make his Blyth Spartans debut this evening. He was released by Darlington at the weekend, joined the Blue Square North side yesterday and is in line for his first appearance for Mick Tait's side away to Workington.
