Byrne injury blow for Quakers

Byrne, a free signing earlier this month following his release from Inverness, was forced out of Saturday's defeat at Bradford early in the second half due to a hamstring problem.Alan White, who replaced Byrne at Valley Parade, will continue alongside Ian Miller.Manager Steve Staunton has no other new injury or suspension problems but will still be without defender Mark Bower (ankle), midfielder Chris Lumsdon (knee) and veteran striker Noel Whelan (hamstring).Quakers, hoping to end a run of three straight league defeats, are chasing their first league win since victory over Rotherham earlier this month in their bid for Football League survival.
