Parkin sets sights on play-off spot

Parkin registered a brace as Preston surged to a 3-0 win over Cardiff at the weekend to move up to 13th, their first league victory in four outings.Cardiff sit in the last play-off place and are seven points clear of North End but Parkin is still optimistic the Lilywhites are capable of finishing in the top six."I don't see any reason why we can't make the play-offs," he told the Lancashire Evening Post. "Through the years there have been teams who have made late runs and got in there."If we are going to have a good run of form, now is the time to do it, other teams will drop points."
