Boothroyd targets U's response

Rovers went ahead early on through Dominic Blizzard's 25-yard effort, but the U's hit back five minutes later when John-Joe O'Toole's header deflected a Phil Ifil shot past Mikkel Andersen.Jo Kuffour forced the ball home from Chris Lines' header after 67 minutes and then provided the cross for Lines to volley home and make it 3-1. Colchester substitute Kayode Odejayi reduced the deficit late on but it was not enough.Boothroyd said: "If changes need to be made I will make them."It's unlike us to concede three goals but I'm also irritated that we didn't take our chances, especially in the first half when we could have got on top."Rovers deserved what they got in the second half. If you score twice in a game you should get something, but we weren't good enough defensively for that to happen. The one thing I could say about my group of players is that they bounce back quickly from setbacks and we need to do so again."
