Bantams halt run against Quakers

It was the Bantams' second win in four days after beating League Two leaders Rochdale 3-1 at Spotland on Tuesday.Leading scorer James Hanson scored the only goal of the match with a close-range header from Gareth Evans' right-wing cross after 26 minutes. But Bradford were unable to build on that lead and survived some anxious moments in the second half before completing their first home win in the league since October 24.Home goalkeeper Matt Glennon did well to turn Darlington's best effort - an angled shot from Josh Gray - round the post for a corner in the 55th minute. At the other end Evans was unlucky to see his goal-bound shot blocked by substitute Alan White and substitute striker Michael Boulding was twice off target in the closing stages.
