MacDonald hits winner for Glovers

Ince's Dons needed a victory to keep up their bid for the play-offs and started brightly. They might have scored in the eighth minute when Jermaine Easter rounded Craig Alcock and fired in a drive which goalkeeper Alex McCarthy did well to save with his feet. But Yeovil soon took up the running and Gavin Tomlin laid on a good chance for Dean Bowditch who shot over.In the 23rd minute however Yeovil grabbed the lead. Arron Davies' left-wing corner was headed clear but only to Yeovil midfielder MacDonald who picked his spot from 20 yards out to fire high into the roof of the net.Yeovil should have at least doubled their lead by half time but JP Kalala and Davies both had shots well saved by Willy Gueret. The second half was a different story. The Dons did all the attacking but failed to find a way through a crowded Yeovil defence and chances were few and far between enabling Yeovil to hold on for only their second back-to-back victory of the season.
