Ings 'not looking to leave Burnley'

Burnley striker Danny Ings insists he is committed to the club despite only having a year left on his contract. The 21-year-old netted 26 goals last season to help the Clarets to an unexpected promotion and was voted Championship Player of the Year.Ings also won his first caps for England Under-21s and has been consistently linked with a move away from Burnley this summer.Other Premier League clubs and teams in Europe have been rumoured destinations, but Ings told Clarets Player: "I don't understand why it has gone crazy on social media and the like. "I signed a four-year contract when I came here and obviously I still have a year left. I don't feel there should be any panic. I am just enjoying my football and going into my last year of my contract. "As far as I am concerned, Burnley Football Club and the Premier League is where I am, 100 per cent. Everybody knows I enjoy playing for Burnley Football Club. It's a fantastic family club and I am not looking to leave." Ings is currently with his team-mates at a pre-season training camp in Austria, and he believes Sean Dyche's side can hold their own in the top flight. He said: "We were such a fit squad anyway but to come back this year as we have shows that the lads really want to have a right go and mix it with the best players in the world. "One thing I know is we will work as hard as we can from start to finish and just try our best against the top teams, and hopefully we can surprise a few people."And the way the lads look, and how hungry they look, I think we will do that."
