Town and Thatcher part company
The former Wales international was signed by Town in the summer of 2008 but suffered a knee injury in the derby win over rivals Norwich last spring.He has not featured under Roy Keane this season and is now a free agent to find a new club.Thatcher told the club's official website: "They are a great set of lads in the dressing room and I want to see them climb the table over the rest of the season."I want to carry on playing and definitely feel I can do a job on the pitch for another year or two."
