Man Utd To Dump Owen In The Summer!

According to reports today, Sir Alex Ferguson will be dumping former Toon striker Michael Owen in the summer . which is obviously a massive blow to Owen's World Cup hopes. The news from Manchester today - Michael Owen and Ben Foster will reportedly be the biggest names leaving Manchester United with a summer clear-out said to be planned at Old Trafford. But Ferguson has hinted he could "rest" Wayne Rooney for the Carling Cup final against Aston Villa on Sunday . which must give Owen a fighting chance of being involved at Wembley.
