New Manchester United boss van Gaal to swoop for Real Madrid hitman

According to reports in The Sun, Manchester United are weighing up a huge bid for out of favour Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira. The Real Madrid midfielder looks to be falling down the pecking order with Madrid and will be entertaining bids over the summer transfer window. Khedira’s new contract talks with Real have broken-down and Carlo Ancelotti is keen to pursue new targets in the summer to strengthen the champions chances of lifting more trophies in the 2014-15 season according to the report. The 27-year-old German midfielder is considered irreplaceable by Low and has been a regular at the World Cup. Germany but will be back in action against the USA on Thursday. The player is noted for his dynamic play, aerial ability and mid-range shooting skill and is also of Interest to Mourinho at Chelsea. A two way dual which could force the cost up beyond the £30million mark currently being discussed and United have already increased their bid according to the Mirror. Khedira has made 91 appearances for Real Madrid since joining in 2010, scoring six goals. The midfielder started playing for the German national side in 2009 and has gone on to make 48 appearances.
