According to reports in Spanish newspaper AS, Manchester United have agreed a fee with Champions League finalists Atletico Madrid for the transfer of their star defender Miranda, who could be one of several Atleti players leaving the La Liga winners during the summer transfer window.Team mates Tiago and Costa also look set to leave the club, with both players being heavily linked with moves to Chelsea, a club where Tiago has previously played.AS Claim that the Red Devils have agreed to pay Miranda's buyout clause, which is a reported 30 million Euros, although another Spanish newspape, Marca, have claimed the player is also in talks with Catalan club Barcelona, suggesting that the players agent may be at work in the hopes of securing a better deal for Miranda in Madrid. The fact that Manchester United would want to pay that amount of money for a player who is already 29-years-old also rings alarm bells.
